How to Get Players and Parents to Participate in a Fundraiser

For your fundraiser to be successful, you'll need to have all of the stakeholders in your program particpate.  That includes the two most important groups: Players and their parents.

So how can you get players and parents to participate in your fundraiser?

The staff at InstaRaise have years of experience in helping athletic programs execute their fundraisers.  In this video from Glazier Drive's Fundraising Academy, they share some advice to help you get athletes and parents involved!

  • Prepare for and coach your fundraise the same way you do for your practice drills.
  • Make the process as easy as possible.
  • Choose a fundraiser with technology that can be run completely from a mobile device.

  • Limit the length of the fundraiser to avoid burnout.
  • Be clear to the players and parents as to what the money will be used for
  • Provide multiple product options.
  • Offer incentives that both players and parents can enjoy.
